PERN, one of the key operators in fuel transmission and storage in Poland, chose an integrated solution to manage both logistics and technological processes. Our task was to implement a system that would enhance safety, streamline operations, and speed up the handling of fuel transports.

Current diagnostics of the entire facility are conducted, warnings and alarms are developed. An animated diagram of the technological system of the open pit is presented on a large-scale synoptic board.

The SAMER®TAS system supports Unimot Terminale in supervising fuel transshipment, controlling vehicle movement, managing shipping documentation, and ensuring the safety of technological processes. The solution is continuously developed and maintained at peak performance.

The SAMER®Net system enables remote monitoring and management of a network of fuel terminals.

SAMER®Net creates an additional, superior software layer that enables remote monitoring and management of the fuel depot network.

System ten combines devices from typical industrial systems and MES-class executive systems.

At the Gdańsk Oil Terminal, we implemented the SAMER®TAS system to supervise and automate key processes related to the transshipment and storage of crude oil. The solution ensures greater operational safety and effective control over product flow.

The system works with the corporate ERP system – SAP R/3. The system has been modernized and expanded several times, including new automatic weighbridge systems. The system is provided with ongoing service and technical support.

The SAMER®TAS system, in cooperation with the company's SAP R/3 system, creates all required forwarding and warehouse documents and ensures their electronic circulation.

The main task of the system is to analyze the efficiency of production lines. All line downtimes (planned and unplanned) are recorded in a central database and classified.

The SAMER®TAS system enables driver self-service through a multimedia kiosk, allowing vehicle entry registration and printing of the loading plan without terminal staff involvement. It automatically transfers the loading plan and receives execution data from the loading bay automation system.

The SAMER®TAS system supports the Bioagra Oil methyl ester plant and the Komagra rapeseed oil plant by managing and supervising road, rail, and pipeline logistics—ensuring safe and transparent execution of transportation processes.

The system ensures automation, supervision, improvement and sealing of the processes of receipt and storage of various types of biomass on the premises of the Plant.

The systems ensure automatic start-up of fire pumping stations and control of water and foam directional valves – locally, from distribution stations, and remotely, from operator panels.

New control and measurement equipment and executive devices were also installed. The implemented systems have a distributed structure and use PLC controllers and computer stations.

The communication and computer equipment was replaced and a new SCADA software application was developed. The system was also expanded to include support for new heat chambers.

The system supervises the dosing of rubber mixture components and controls the technological process based on production recipes.

The largest implementation project is the automation system for the process water installation, completed in 2008, and then modernized and expanded several times in the years 2009–2015.

The system has a distributed structure and uses PLC controllers, operator panels and computer workstations.

In the following years, during the expansion of the Plant, automation systems were implemented for new production lines and safety systems in existing installations were modernized.

The system has a distributed structure and is implemented in DCS technology. During its operation, the system was modified several times due to changes introduced in the technological installations of the Station.

The system is made based on PLC controllers and computer stations with SCADA application. After the facility was launched, numerous system modifications were introduced, both in hardware and software, resulting from the expansion of technological installations.
