The EUS-2 overfill control device complies with the European standard EN13922 and the American standard API RP1004 for bottom-filling tanks.

Full compatibility with tanker equipment with different wiring variants for worldwide use is ensured.

The new EUS-2 device, which since the beginning of 2014 has been replaced by the previous EUS-1 device by the manufacturer TIMM Elektronik, automatically identifies the type of level sensor (five-wire or two-wire sensors) as well as the type of grounding control (with or without a grounding recognition device) when connected to the tanker truck and automatically starts the required operating mode. Up to 8 two-wire sensors (optical or thermistor type) or 12 five-wire sensors can be connected to the EUS-2 device. The EUS-2 device checks the status of the level sensors and the proper electrostatic grounding of the tanker truck, and also continuously monitors the proper connection of the vapour recovery hose. Consistent monitoring of all conditions necessary for the permission to fill ensures the safety of the loading process. Clear and distinct signalling indicates the status of the permission to fill. Additionally, all operating states of the device are presented as text information on a large multifunctional graphic display.

The new EUS-2 overfill monitoring device continuously performs self-diagnostics of all internal components and external connections relevant to safety. The use of two self-monitoring, redundant control outputs guarantees the highest functional safety of the loading process. In addition, the EUS-2 device is equipped with additional control outputs, which are optionally configurable for different operating modes, as well as a serial data bus interface for optimal control and signaling during the filling process, according to the individual needs of the users.
