NUMER BDO MERRID CONTROLS SP. Z O.O. - 000159391

That is why we have registered in the BDO register maintained by the Marshal's Office as a person introducing equipment. Each of us is a user of electrical and electronic equipment, and therefore a potential producer of waste that is hazardous to people and the environment! On the other hand, used equipment is a valuable material from which we can recover raw materials such as copper, tin, glass, iron, and even gold and silver.

Information on the system for collecting used electrical and electronic equipment.

1. Leave your used equipment at the store where you buy your new device.
Every store is obliged to accept old equipment free of charge if we buy new equipment of the same type and performing the same function.

2. Leave small used equipment at a large supermarket without having to buy new one.
Shops with a sales area of at least 400 m2 of household equipment are obliged to accept, free of charge, in this unit or in its immediate vicinity, used household equipment, none of the external dimensions of which exceeds 25 cm, without the need to purchase new household equipment.

3. Return used electrical and electronic equipment to the point of delivery.
When delivering equipment intended for households to the purchaser, the distributor is obliged to take back used equipment from households free of charge at the place of delivery of such equipment, provided that the used equipment is of the same type and performed the same functions as the supplied equipment.

4. Take used equipment to a collection point.
Information about the closest location can be found on the municipal website or the municipal office noticeboard.

5. Leave the equipment at the service point.
If repairing the equipment is unprofitable or impossible for technical reasons, the service center is obliged to accept the device free of charge.

The equipment collected in this way is sent to specialist processing plants, where hazardous components will be removed first. The remaining components will undergo recovery and recycling processes. Each device powered by electricity or batteries should be marked with a crossed-out bin symbol.

The crossed out waste bin symbol placed on the equipment, packaging or documents attached to it means that the product must not be disposed of together with other waste. The user is obliged to transfer the used equipment to a designated collection point for proper processing. The marking also means that the equipment was introduced to the market after 13 August 2005.

Do not throw away used equipment together with other waste!
Financial penalties may be imposed for this.

Appropriate handling of used equipment prevents potential negative consequences for the environment and human health.

At the same time, we save our Earth's natural resources by reusing raw materials obtained from recycling equipment.
